Some Call It "TARGET" I Call it "TARJAY"

In my last post, I discussed my experience going to the launch for Philip Lim’s new collection at Target. However, what I failed to mention was that after I tried on and picked up some of his pieces, I decided to have a look around the around the some and see what else Target’s women’s line has to offer.

As my eyes darted back and forth around the somewhat new department store, I caught sight of a lovely leopard blouse hanging up in the Nygard section. As a huge fan of leopard, I admittedly own a lot of leopard pieces (shoes, headband, bag, a scarf and even pants), but the one item I was missing in my closet was a leopard shirt.  So, when I saw the leopard blouse hanging up on the rack, I figured this just might be my opportunity to expand my range of leopard in my wardrobe and decided to try it on.

To give the outfit a more sophisticated look that can easily be worn in the office or on a night out with the girls, I decided to add a burgundy blazer, which also stems from the clothing line Nygard.   

After seeing the complete look of the outfit in the mirror, I thought to myself “Why didn’t I ever consider Tarjay before?” The pieces are cute and are in line with the current trends in fashion.  More importantly, if you are on a budget and want look fabulous and très chic, Target is a great to place to check out.
