Essie's Chillato Nail Polish

  It's summer time and Essie has just launched their new summer collection, which is inspired by the theme endless summer fun- a notion I know too much about.  The collection comes with 6 new shades: Private Weekend, Chillato, Peach Side Babe, Sunset Sneaks, Saltwater Happy and Pret-a-Surfer.

  Although I would love to try out all of the colours, the color I chose was Chillato- a cool, light color which comes across as lime on the nails.

  I am such a huge fan of this polish for the summer as its nice, subtle and refreshing. The polish Chillato truly proves that you don't need to wear bright polishes all throughout the summer. In fact, sometimes its nice to try a lighter color that can create a nice cool look on the nails. Not to mention that this color looks great with a nice tan or glow to the skin- which lets admit is one of the best parts about summer.

As well, since I have been wearing this polish the whole summer, I can tell you that it has some great staying power; however, it applies light so be sure to add at least 3 coats to prevent a streaky look. Tip: Add a top coat to give it some extra shine and protection and you are good.

  Overall, I highly recommend Chillato to anyone looking for a great polish to wear this summer!

Blogger's Unite: ConNEXTion Bloggers Networking Event Returns!

  I have some exciting news! I am thrilled to announce that the conNEXTion team, which includes myself and two local bloggers- Why I love Toronto and Think Outside The Cloth will be hosting another bloggers networking event.

  The purpose of conNEXTion is to unite bloggers, vloggers, writers, editors, photographers, social media experts, local vendors and more in one space to connect, gain advice and mentorship. As we hosted an event two months ago that proved to be successful and very necessary in the blogger/digital community, we knew we had to host another event.



  The next Bloggers Networking event will take place at Studio Bar (824 Dundas St. W) on Wednesday, July 28th, 2015 from 6-9pm.  There will be lots of bloggers, fun and networking. We hope to see you there!

Forever 21 Outfit Of The Day

  It's been so beautiful in Toronto this summer! The sun comes out early in the morning and it's so nice to feel the rays of the sun beaming down.  It honestly is the perfect weather to sit on a patio and do some outdoor shopping- both of which I did. 

  In order to experience the most of this beautiful weather, I figured it would be nice to visit the Shops at Don Mills; an outdoor shopping complex that has patios galore!  I decided to dress light and comfortable with white converse (probably the most comfortable footwear designed) and a long fitted grey dress from Forever 21. I love the way the converse and the dress come together to create a street-chic look that looks simple and fashionable. I just adore this budget friendly outfit!
