Ciaté Nail Polish: Raspberry Collins

I think it's safe to say that I have an addiction to nail polish. While shopping in the mall this weekend, I decided to pick up a bottle of polish from the brand Ciaté. I have never used this brand before, as I often purchase Essie or Opi polishes; however, I felt it was time for a bit of a brand change and I purchased a bottle in the colour Raspberry Collins.

For those unfamiliar with Ciaté, it is a brand that stems from london and comes in 120 different paint pot colours. The  long stem, rectangular shaped paint pot and cute bow tie are the defining features of this brand. It's a very unique look for nail polish.

I chose to pick up the color Raspberry Collins, because I wanted to have something pretty and fun on my nails. When I applied the polish on my nails, I noticed that it was very easy to apply on my nail bed, which is most likely due to the fact that the polish comes with a long stem which helps to give more control when applying the polish on. I also find that it's best to apply more than one coat, as the color is not very vibrant with just one application. Once the second coat has been applied, the polish has a color and sheen that looks bright and lovely. Another great feature about this polish is that it is very fast drying, which is something I value when it comes to nail lacquer.

Overall, I really liked using the Ciaté nail polish. It is highly pigmented, easy to apply on the nails, dries fast and is long lasting. If you are interested in trying out a nail polish from a different brand, I would suggest trying out a polish from the Ciaté line.
