I Have Been Nominated For The Liebster Award!

I am happy to announce that I have been nominated for a Liebster Award! The purpose of this award is to recognize up and coming bloggers with less than 200 followers.  

A special thanks to blogger Stephanie Silv. Lui for nominating me for this award!

Stephanie asked me 11 different questions about myself that I have answered below. Hopefully this gives you a better idea about me!

1. Which clothing brand will you always go for, no matter what?

Club Monaco would be the brand I would always go for the reasons that it is a brand that is classy, sophisticated and elegant. Also, Club Monaco has great sales, which is good for both my wallet and closet!

2.  Top 5 favorite makeup products and why? 

L’oreal telescopic mascara: It is such a great mascara that makes my eyelashes look fabulous and is an incredibly affordable drugstore product.

Rebel MAC lipstick: One of the more popular lipsticks at MAC and also happens to be my favorite. I love that this lipstick is such a universal color that looks great on everyone. Whenever I wear this lipstick, I feel great about myself. Tip: Always wear what makes you feel great about yourself!

Naked Palette 2 (Urban Decay): I'm a huge fan of this palette. It comes with 12 different shades that can be worn by themselves, or mixed together to create an amazing eye. Another great thing about this palette is that the eye shadows are highly pigmented and last so long. This is definitely one of my favorite palettes!

HD Makeup Forever foundation: This is my go to foundation that I wear on a daily basis. The foundation feels light on my face and gives me the dewy look that I always want! Love this foundation!

MAC Kohl eyeliner (smoulder):  This eyeliner works great for me. I love the texture of this eyeliner and that it is such a dark, rich color on my eyelids. I have tried other brands out of curiousity to find that I always return back to my MAC eyeliner. 

3. Describe what paradise is for you.
Paradise for me is a vacation where I can sit down and relax while having the sun glisten on my face  and eat a croissant. Imagine doing this on a park bench in Paris, France. Doesn't it sound lovely?

4. What is in your bag right now?

I’m notorious for carrying a huge bag with me everywhere I go, which is probably why I have so much stuff in my bag. On a daily basis I carry a notepad to jot down notes, a novel that I am currently reading, my makeup bag, a few pens scattered around, a pair of socks cause my biggest nightmare is that my feet will somehow get wet from the snow and will be cold all day long, two wallets (not sure why I continue to do this) and a pair of sunglasses. 

5. Which places would you love to travel to?

I have been to a few countries before, but I have a few countries I would love to visit: South Africa, Thailand and Kenya. 

6.  One quote you always live by.

A quote I live by, which I think is really true to me: When you say its impossible, another person is making it possible. This quote is helps me to keep pushing myself and to realize that everything is possible, no matter how difficult it may seem.

7.  One thing you will never wear and why?

I never say never; however, because you never know how your sense of fashion can change over the years- which happens a lot to me. Plus, I think I am open to wearing most things, but in this current moment I don’t think I a huge fan of creepers. I think it looks great on other people, but I just can’t see myself wearing it. So for now I will not jump on the creepers trend.

8.  What are your favorite drinks you will always order?

I am such a vodka and cranberry girl. I think its because its simple, tastes good and has the right kick that is appropriate for me. If I want something a bit stronger, I would go for a rum and coke. 

9. If you could change one thing about this world, what would it be and why?

Ultimately if I could do one thing to improve the world, I would end all wars as clichéd as that sounds. I am such a pacifist and it bothers me that people hate and fight each other. World peace would be the ideal!

10. Tell me one weird fact about you.

Seeing a fruit fly makes me super itchy that sometimes I need to leave the room.

11. If you could treat yourself once a month with anything, what would it be?

I think its important to go eat good food and treat yourself while your young. So, with that being said, I think I would treat myself to a fine dining once a month. It doesn’t have to be really expensive, but I think its a great and fun experience to enjoy a 3 course meal once in a while.
