I recently went to the Lisa Warehouse Sale and came out with a bunch of goodies! The warehouse sale contains a variety of cosmetic brands that are marked down to a significantly lower price than a retail store would offer. In fact, some items are marked as high as 70% off!
Although you can buy various products (e.g. fragrances, socks, cleaning supplies) from the warehouse sale, I decided to focus exclusively on makeup (how predictable). Below is a haul of all of the makeup products that I purchased at the cosmetic sale.
This is the first time I have seen Anna Sui makeup being sold at this event. The color is called Ombre A Paupieres and is a shimmery bronze color. It has a very silky texture and applies very nicely on the skin.
One of the my favorite things about this product is the packaging. Frankly I think the packaging alone sold me because it is so different and looks very pretty. It slightly reminds me of stained glass. Another bonus is that the eyeshadow comes with a mirror which makes it easier to apply eyeshadow when on the go or when quick touchups are needed. This eyeshadow normally retails for $25.00 but being sold for $10.99 at the sale. (See swatch of Ombre A Paupieres on my hand below)
I then purchased some eyeshadows from Stila for $4.99 each. I decided to go with this rose gold color called Jezebel and this charcoal color called Ebony because I felt that they would be great to pair together to create a smokey eye. The color Jezebel is very shimmery and is very silky and soft in texture. In contrast, the color ebony is very matte which makes it great for shading and will create the necessary contrast from the shimmer that is needed to create a sultry smokey eye. (See swatch of Ebony and Jezebel on my hand below)
I then picked up some nail products, which I have been looking forward to purchasing at this sale due to the good deals that I knew I would be able to get them for. From left to right: I purchased a nail clipper for $2.99, China glaze green shimmer nail polish for $4.00, China glaze blue nail polish for $4.00 and some nail art designs for $3.99. I am so happy I was able to pick up these items and I look forward to creating some fun nail designs for Christmas!
Overall, the Lisa Cosmetics Sale was worth going to in my opinion. The sale offers a variety of products that are appealing to both genders and has great deals that are significantly lower than items found in various retail stores. If you haven't been to the Lisa Cosmetics Sale before and you live in Toronto, you should definitely check it out.
